In this video, he talks about the salary that he is able to draw along with the kind of expenses that he has to manage while living in Canada. As he shares the video clips of his work, he mentions that, on average, truck drivers are able to earn anywhere around $5,000 CAD to $9,000 CAD per month depending on the hours they put in and the duration they are on the road.

After paying taxes as per the tax slabs, one is able to get around $6,000 CAD (approx Rs 4 lakh per month) in hand. If you own a house and have to pay the EMI, this amount gets reduced to around $3,000 CAD. Then there are expenses like phone, internet, groceries and buying things for the home. At the end of the month, one can save around $500 CAD – $1,000 CAD depending on your spending habits. If your spouse is not working, you will get some money back from the taxes that you pay.
Finally, if you are a single person, you could save some more money by living in shared apartments that will save you a lot of rent and don’t need to buy your own house.
