In this video, he talks to an experienced Indian trucker in Australia about the salary and formalities related to being a truck driver. The duo discusses the prices of the trucks in the first phase of the video. The guy owns a cement mixer that he purchased for around $350,000 AUS brand new. This roughly translates to around Rs 2 Crore INR. However, one could get other types of trucks at a lower cost as well.
Salaries
Then, they talk about the kind of salaries one could expect being a truck driver. The guy mentions that one could expect an average salary of around $1,700 AUS per week which translates to around $7,200 AUD a month (approx Rs 4 lakh). However, they don’t explain if this is after tax or in hand. Our guess would be that this is before tax. Also, the amount of money that you could potentially save depends on your spending habits and lifestyle.

Finally, the duo talks about the driver’s license. The YouTuber gets asked if anyone from India or the UAE or any other country can come and start driving the truck if he/she possesses a valid license and has experience.
