Hyundai Motors launched the Tucson initially back in 2007. Hyundai used to retail the Terracan SUV alongside the Tucson. Both the products failed miserably as neither was the market ready for such premium products nor was Hyundai considered premium enough to sell such brands here. Learning from its mistakes, for a long time, Hyundai didn’t introduce an SUV in the Indian market. Now the Tucson has returned and at the ongoing New York International Auto Show, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson facelift has been revealed. 2019 Hyundai Tucson – Launch Price
The 2019 Hyundai Tucson facelift will launch in the USA initially slated for this summer. Post this, the new crossover will launch in Europe in the following months. The Tucson face lit is expected to launch in India by the end of this year or early next year. With the introduction of new tech on board, the fully loaded crossover will cost between INR 18.5 lakh to INR 26 lakh.

2019 Hyundai Tucson – Exterior
The upcoming Hyundai Tucson facelift gets several exteriors design changes to highlight the shift. The front gets a new Cascading grille with an updated design and new L-shaped DRLs. Both the bumpers, fog lamp units and taillights feature design update too. Rounding up the exterior changes is the new sporty exhaust finisher which will be offered only in the mid to top variants.
2019 Hyundai Tucson – Interior
The list of changes in the interior of the 2019 Hyundai Tucson is even longer. The new crossover gets a clearer centre stack which is dominated by a new generation 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system features Apple Car Play, Android Auto and Hyundai’s own Blue Link Connected Car System. The Blue Link system allows the user to remotely start the car, set the climate control to the desired temperature and send point of interest to car’s onboard navigation system. The centre aircon vents have been repositioned. The Tucson facelift also benefits from updated instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, new trim/material finish, new leather seats and rearview mirror. The top end trim will also feature second-row USB charger and Qi wireless charging.

2019 Hyundai Tucson – Engine and Mileage
The Tucson facelift will employ a new 1.6-litre diesel engine replacing the 1.7-litre unit. The same engine will be offered in multiple states of tune i.e. 115 PS and 133 PS. The US market will get the 2.4-litre petrol normally aspirated engine and a new 1.6-litre turbocharged unit. The India launch date and specifications will be available as we near the launch.
