The India Bike Week is the largest motorcycle festival in Asia and 2019 is the sixth edition of this festival and it promises a lot exciting motorcycles with KTM being a title sponsor.
The India Bike week is back with a a bang after a brief break and this year it will be held in Goa on December 6-7, 2019. This is Asia’s largest motorcycle festival and it is currently in its sixth edition. This year, the India Bike Week promises a lot of fun activities, major attractions and of course, lots and lots of amazing motorcycles to drool over. In fact, KTM is one of the title partners and they will be showcasing the crazy 1290 Super Duke for the first time in India. There are also rumors that KTM will be debuting the hotly anticipated 390 Adventure at the India Bike Week 2019. So here’s all you could be looking forward to from the India Bike Week 2019:
India Bike Week Track Days
The India Bike Week 2019 will be the host of four separate, timed, bike racing events for the first ever at the festival. This includes the Flat Track Timed Trials by Harley-Davidson India, Hill Climb by School of Dirt, Big Rock Enduro Training Academy and Moto Mob.
International and National Biking Superstars at Big Trip
Over the years, the IBW has seen many international and national biking stars and athletes making their way to India. This year is no different as you will see Rok Bagoros, (International Celebrity Stunter), FMX 4 EVER, (International Freestyle MotoCross Team), Aishwarya Pissay, (First Indian Athlete To Win A World Title), Rajini Krishnan, (First Indian Winner of Asian Road Racing Championship) and Simran King, (National Champion for JK Tyre 1000 CC Category), Ashish Raorane (rally rider). All these sensational riders will be showcasing their talents and will also be coming together at the Big Trip for a session on careers in motorsport moderated by Sagar Sheldekar.
Icons at the India Bike Week 2019
The 2019 iteration of the IBW will be graced by motorsport icons like six-time World Enduro champion and KTM Adventure Ambassador, Giovanni Sala, who is also Master Mentor for the KTM Adventure Rallies. He will be coming to India to share his insight on adventure segment with the bikers.
Moto Art And Good Music
Of course no motorcycle festival is complete without some good music to bring out the real emotion of all the motorcyclists. The IBW 2019 will be host to mainstream and Indie artists such as SU Real & General Zooz, Ritviz, Pineapple Express, Best Kept Secret along with L.Y.D. The festival will also be taking forward the theme of Hand Built culture which will see Moto Art collective showcasing some of the various artists presenting Biker inspired art and installations by Bacon & Eggs, Prankur Rana, Mechlogue and Tilak Godwa.
Global Speakers for the Big Trip
Global speakers at IBW this year will see Candida Louis, Manas Dewan & Anuradha Bhonsale Dewan, Girish Venkatraman, Deepak Kamath, Sukesh Viswanath, Debashish Ghosh & Dharmendra Jain, Alex Chacon are few of the Big Trip Speakers who will be sharing the stage graced by Motorcycle Traveller Greats like Ted Simon, Nick Sanders, Horizons Unlimited, the late Hubert Kriegel, and relate their experiences and insights into the world of two-wheel travel.

Retail Therapy
There will be over 120 brand at the India Bike Week 2019 with riding gears and motorcycle accessories. Bikers will thus have an extensive array of shopping options and some of the notable brands in attendance include Performance Racing Store, Big Bad Bikes, Rynox Gears and more at the new Biker Mart.

Ticket Prices
The India Bike week has now become more affordable, the tickets being priced at Rs. 1,200 for a one day pass and Rs. 2,500 for two days. These prices are only for early bird buyers though and can be purchased at these prices till November 20, 2019. If you are the owner of a KTM motorcycle, you are privileged as you can buy the passes for just Rs. 1,600 for both the days and there’s even a special fan package worth ₹ 1100 with a number of goodies and access to special events.
