In fact, he interacts with a few of them and even shakes hands with some media person. After posing for a few photos, he sits in the front passenger seat as the chauffeur drives the EV away.

The Mercedes EQS 580 is the flagship electric car from the German car marque in our country. It caters to celebrities by offering the latest tech and connectivity amenities. There is a generous use of top-notch materials inside the cabin. Other aspects you will witness include a light colour scheme and a colossal digital estate with a large digital cockpit instrument cluster for the driver with all sorts of information and a ginormous infotainment display with MBUX software. It even boasts functions like ADAS, Air Purifier, Panoramic Sunroof, Burmester surround sound system, Head-up Display, 9 Airbags, and tons of other functionalities.
In terms of the specifications, the EQS is quite impressive. It comes with a colossal 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. The claimed range is a whopping 857 km on a single charge. However, the real-world figures will differ quite a bit. Also, with a 110 kW DC fast charger, it takes 31 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%. The EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 kmph. The dual-motor configuration enables a total of 523 hp and 856 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. The power is sent to all four wheels via Merc’s trademark 4MATIC drivetrain. The on-road price is a cool Rs 1.66 Crore.
