Hyundai is going to launch its new Hyundai Verna RB in April 2011 in India. The much awaited face of the C segment sedan is going to appear on Indian roads with a bang. The new Verna RB is expected to bring strong competition to the segment which is mainly captured by the cars like Maruti SX4, Fiat Linea, Volkswagen Vento etc.. As per the latest news the Hyundai Verna RB in India will feature 4 engine options, of which two are MPFI petrol engines and two are CRDI Diesel engines.
Hyundai Verna RB 2011 Engine Options
Looks like Hyundai India has got one Verna RB for everyone! The engine options of Hyundai RB Sedan 2011 In India will be as follows:
- 1.4 Litre MPFI Petrol Engine with max power of 104 BHP and max torque of 135 Nm
- 1.6 Litre Gamma MPFI Petrol Engine with max power of 122 BHP and max torque of 156 Nm
- 1.4 Litre CRDI Diesel Engine with max power of 90 BHP and max torque of 224 Nm (same engine which powers Hyundai i20 Diesel)
- 1.6 Litre CRDI Diesel Engine with max power of 126 BHP and max torque of 265 Nm
With these engine options, Hyundai Verna RB new model 2011 will be able to fit a large number of customer needs who want a particular type of usage for the car. Those who want more fuel efficiency may go for lower end engine options and performance enthusiast may go for higher power options. Also the top end variants will feature safety features like 6 airbags. The pricing will also be aggressive between Rs. 7.5 to 11 Lakh to take on the competitors.
