Hyundai Verna beat the Maruti Ciaz in popularity of mid-size segment sedans.
Hyundai is the second most loved car manufacturer in India after Maruti Suzuki but the company beat its competitor by being in the top spot for the mid-sized segment sedan. That’s right, Hyundai Verna is the most loved by consumers than the Ciaz.

Hyundai is a clear winner by selling 143 units more of Verna than Maruti Ciaz.

Currently, Hyundai Verna is available with 4 engine options, petrol and diesel mated to a manual and automatic transmission. The two diesel options, 1.6L turbocharged making 126bhp with 260Nm of torque mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission and the lower end 1.4L turbocharged diesel engine churning out 89bhp with 220Nm of torque mated to 6-speed manual transmission.
The petrol engine, 1.6L VTVT engine churns out 121bhp with 151Nm of torque is available in both 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. And the smaller engine, 1.4L petrol motor churns out 99bhp with 132Nm of torque which is mated to 6-speed manual transmission.
The Verna also a 17.77cm of the touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link connectivity. The sedan gets rear parking sensors, keyless entry, projector headlamps, LED Tail lamps and 16′ diamond cut alloy wheels.
