Unfortunate incidents are a part of road and driving and this is one such case where an SUV tests the build quality of a hatchback.
In this video, a damaged Tata Tiago is seen parked alongside a Hyundai Venue after both cars were involved in a mishap. Now, the Venue has got a 4-star score from A-NCAP but has not yet been tested by GNCAP, whereas the Tiago has already received a 4-star safety rating at the GNCAP. In real-life incidents, both these vehicles have performed well. This could be a sign that the Venue would eventually score very well on the GNCAP test. For now, let us check out the details of this unfortunate crash.

The damage to the hatchback is quite significant suggesting that it might have hit something else after colliding with the Venue. Tiago’s entire front profile has been severely damaged including the side pillars which is why the impact reached inside the cabin. The bumper, grille, windshield, bonnet and even the engine bay suffered damage. On the other hand, the damage to the Venue is also significant but the slide pillars absorbed the impact and didn’t allow it to enter the cabin. As a result, the occupants were safe.

Finally, we would like to caution and advise our readers to take the traffic regulations seriously. Overspeeding is the prime cause of almost all accidents on the road. We must strive to avoid overspeeding at any cost so as to make our roads safer. That is the only way to ensure road safety on our roads which carries a bad reputation at the moment. Stay staff and follow the traffic rules.
