Hyundai Venue will launch on May 21 and the compact SUV already has received over 2000 bookings in a day. Is it a tough competition to others?
Hyundai pre-launched product, Venue bookings were opened on 02 May 2019 and the first sub-4 metre compact SUV well received over 2000 bookings in a single day. This calculates to up to 84 Hyundai Venue booked in an hour. The bookings can be done either through online or through dealers at a price of Rs 21000.
“We are overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response received from our SUV loving Customers. The Day one response is a record booking for an SUV, with an average of 84 VENUE every hour. We are receiving customer enquiries at all our touch points across India as VENUE tops Vehicle Preference Chart in Design, Power, Transmission and Connectivity. Further, the notable traction on Online booking is coming from Semi-urban areas due to strong telecom infrastructure. This showcases the emergence of a new era of connected mobility solutions and acceptance of technology in day-to-day life”, Mr Vikas Jain, National Sales Head, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. expressed his thoughts.
Hyundai Venue is available in three engine options, 2 petrol and 1 diesel and three transmission options, 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT transmission.

There is an option of two petrol engine to choose from, a 1.0L Turbo petrol engine which is mated to 7-speed DCT as well as 6-speed manual and 1.2L, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor which is mated to a 5-speed manual. The 1.4L diesel motor comes with a 6-speed manual.
The new sub-4-metre compact SUV packs some sleek design comes with loaded features such as projector headlamps with LED DRL’s, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car also features a power sunroof, wireless charging, smart key with push-button start, air purifier and more features which will surely turn out to be value for money.

Hyundai Venue competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and Mahindra XUV300. The price range starts at Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 11.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
