Venue has been one of the most popular compact SUVs in its class in recent times
A prominent digital artist has come up with the Hyundai Venue facelift concept. Venue has been around in India since 2019. In the last 6 years, it has been a key product in the compact SUV space. That is particularly impressive since this is one of the most crowded market segments in the country. We have products from almost every major car marque in this space. Still, the Venue has been able to hold its own. That is a testament to how well the Korean auto giant has positioned it. For now, let us glance at the specifics of this enticing rendition.
Hyundai Venue Facelift Imagined
We are able to come across this virtual avatar courtesy of malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. The artist has displayed his/her creativity to incorporate the new global design language of Hyundai into the existing demeanour of the Venue. Hence, at the front, we witness the full-width LED light bar on the edge of the bonnet with a Hyundai logo engraved on it. Taking inspiration from the latest design theme, the main headlamp cluster is located down below on the extreme edges of the bumper. However, I particularly appreciate the black elements on the bumper that make it look adventurous.
Further below, we see the dotted elements that give a unique character to the compact SUV. Moving down the sides reveals the familiar silhouette. The door panels are evidently straight out of the current Venue. However, the elegant and detailed alloy wheels fit nicely into the large wheel arches, offering the SUV a broad and wide stance. Apart from that, the black A and B pillars, black roof and functional roof rails lend a sporty vibe. Overall, one could certainly imagine this to be the actual facelift of the Hyundai Venue.
Specs
The current Hyundai Venue comes with multiple powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre petrol engine which generates a familiar 83 PS and 114 Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel engine belting out a healthy 116 PS and 250 Nm and a potent 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill churning out a respectable 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing the transmission duties is a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. At present, the prices range from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.62 lakh, ex-showroom.
