The Hyundai Venue has been unveiled in India. It is going to launch in the coming months. To compete in the sub4-meter compact SUV segment.
The upcoming Hyundai Venue has finally been unviled in India. The South Korean automaker has also shared important details regarding this vehicle. Prices will be revealed when this SUV is launched in India on the 21st May this year.
We expect this SUV to fall in-between the price range of INR 7.5 lakh to INR 11 lakh. With this, it is going to compete against the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
The Venue is based on Hyundai’s new design langauge. This is true for its interiors as well as its exteriors. Being a Hyundai, this vehicle will be loaded up to the brim with features and creature comforts.
It is going to get Hyundai’s BlueLink to connect car system. This brings a total of 33 connected car features. These include live vehicle tracking, remote engine start-stop, and other such features.

The Venue is going to pack some segment first features as well. These include wireless charging, an air purifier, projector fog-lamps, eco-coating to name a few.
Hyundai has also revealed the powertrain options of this SUV. It is going to get two petrol and one diesel engine option. The former includes a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged unit and a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated motor. While the latter comes with a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder unit.
The 1.0-litre, the petrol engine is capable of churning out 120 BHP of power while the 1.2-litre unit will produce 83 BHP of power. The 1.4-litre diesel engine will get 90 BHP of power.

The 1.0-litre petrol engine will get a 7-speed DCT gearbox along with a choice of a manual transmission. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is going to get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The 1.4-litre diesel engine is going to get a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
Hyundai says that they have used 69% advanced high-strength steel plus high strength steel in the construction of this vehicle. Dimensionally, it is going to measure 3995mm in length, 1770mm in width and 1590mm in height. It is going to have a wheelbase of 2500mm.
