Hyundai Venue sees a waiting period of at least 2 Months and is available with premium features on the inside with the latest split headlight design on the outside.
Hyundai’s latest entry to the compact SUV segment with the Venue created quite a buzz in the automotive industry with its starting price at just Rs 6.5 lakh, ex-showroom. We earlier told you Hyundai Venue received over 20,000 bookings and now the numbers have crossed to over 33,000 and counting.
Hyundai Venue is the first connected car of India with BlueLink technology. On the inside, the car gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto as connectivity features. It also gets voice recognition, electric sunroof, wireless charging, Cruise Control, air purifier and others as some of the premium features.
Safety features include 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP/ESC and Vehicle Stability Management, High-Speed Alert System, Seat Belt Reminders, Hill Assist Control, ISOFIX, Brake Assist, Rear Parking Sensors.
Hyundai Venue is available in a total of three engine options, two petrol and one diesel engine. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated motor churns our 82 bhp with 115 Nm of torque and comes with 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.4-litre turbocharged diesel motor makes 89 bhp with 200Nm of peak torque and is mated to 6-speed manual transmission.

The more powerful, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor pulls out 120 bhp with a peak torque of 172 Nm. It comes with a 7-speed DCT. The Venue takes on the popular selling Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and the newly launched Mahindra XUV300.
The prices of the Hyundai Venue starts at Rs 6.5 lakh for the base trim and the top-end variant sees a price range of Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the current bookings scenario of Hyundai Venue, it has already made it to the second best seller list after the Maruti Brezza, it is a matter of time till the new SUV dethrones the Brezza.
