Hyundai Venue launched its first compact SUV on 21 May 2019. The baby SUV from Hyundai will rival Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and Mahindra XUV300.
The car will be made available in both petrol and diesel engine with the choice of manual as well as automatic transmission. Hyundai Venue will be made available in 13 variants which will give the consumers a wider choice to buy the trim according to their convenience.
Hyundai Venue Features
Now talking about some of the features, Hyundai Venue is the first connected compact SUV to feature Blue-link technology which can be accessed via Smartphone. Maps and navigation services, built-in apps, voice assistant are some of the features. Furthermore, the car will also get an e-SIM based connectivity.
Interiors
The interiors of the car come with a neat dashboard design with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car will also get keyless entry, wireless charging, air-purifier and an electric sunroof.

Exteriors
The front fascia of Hyundai Venue features split headlight design which accounts to LED DRL’s on the top while projector headlamp at the bottom. The baby SUV sits on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and at the rear, it gets LED Taillights. Dual tone exterior paint scheme will be offered too.
Engine
The car will get 3-engine options, 1 diesel and 2 petrol. The turbocharged diesel motor produces 84bhp with 220Nm of peak torque. It is mated to 6-speed manual transmission.

The naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol motor churns out 83bhp with 115Nm of torque. It will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. Hyundai has also introduced 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor which will get a choice of 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) and a 6-speed manual transmission too. The motor churns out 120bhp of power with 172Nm of torque.
Prices
The prices start at Rs 6.50 lakh for the base variant and the top model costs Rs 11.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
