Hyundai plans to bring four new cars for the year 2019 and it will include some new cars and some facelift of the previous models.
With the launch of all-new Venue, Hyundai enters the sub-4-metre SUV market and a starting price of Rs 6.50 lakh surely gives the rivals a tough competition. Moreover, like the Venue, Hyundai also plans to bring four more upcoming cars by late 2019! Let’s see what we have in the list.
Hyundai Grand i10 2nd Gen
The all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will enter the Indian market around the festive season, 2019. The car will rival Maruti Swift and Ford Figo once launched. The car will follow the fluidic design along with signature cascade grille. It will get new and wider headlamps, tail lights, LED DRL’s which makes the car look modern and upmarket.
The interiors will see some change, the turbine style AC vents and gear knob are to be borrowed from Santro. The hatchback will also get new alloy wheels and is expected to get a BS-VI compliance engine. It will possess the 1.2-litre petrol motor which is seen in the on-going generation. The popular hatchback prices are expected to be in between Rs 5 – 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Upcoming Hyundai Elantra Facelift
The facelift of Elantra tells us that Hyundai likes to play with the design and the car will look supremely well in terms of styling. New triangular headlights, revised front and back bumpers, new fog lights and LED Taillights. The side of the car looks more or less the same except for the new set of alloy wheels.
Expect the interiors to be unchanged and the infotainment system might get Blue-Link technology as we have seen on the Venue. The engine is expected to be BS-VI compliance. The price can be expected from Rs 15-18 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Kona EV
This electric car from Hyundai will be the first in India from the brand and is expected to launch in late 2019. The car features a split headlight design along with subtle looking rear. It features LED DRL’s, LED Taillights and diamond cut alloy wheels on the exterior.
The Kona is available in two variants globally – a 39.2 KW Lithium-ion battery pack with 133bhp on tap and another 64 KW battery which churns out 205bhp. On a full charge, they offer a range of 299 kms and 470 kms respectively. t is not sure which variant will launch in India but the lower spec variant is expected. The car can be expected to be launched at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Tucson Facelift
Tucson is a great product from Hyundai but it is not very well received by the market in India. However, with the new facelift Hyundai plans to attract more buyers towards the SUV and offer more features. On the designing part, it will get revised bumpers, LED headlights and new fog light housing.
360-degree camera, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, lane assist and several other features. The SUV is expected to launch later this year. The prices for the same can be expected to start from Rs 18 lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi).
