Moscow is one of the coldest cities in the world with temperatures drowning below minus 15 degree celcius and August provides most pleasant weather but the only thing which is raising the temperature has to be the ongoing 2010 Moscow Motor Show.
The people visiting the show are encountering a number of vehicles including concept cars but one model which made us stop, is the Hyundai RB Concept. The car is a stunner and attracts with its beautiful body work which incorporates futuristic design along with simplicity.
The car has been specially designed for the Russian market which demands low cast cars and its production will begin in January 2011 at Hyundai’s plant in St Petersburg.It is speculated that the car will be launched in India also and when launched, will surely be a replacement for the current Hyundai Verna which has done quite well in terms of sales figures.

Styling
The car’s overall design is inspired by the Nature and utilizes the Fluidic Sculpture Design philosophy earlier seen in the Hyundai i-Flow , Hyundai Sonata YF and the Hyundai i40. Other features include:-
- L-shaped fog lamps
- Hexagonal grille
- Swept back headlamps
Engine
For the Russian market the company will offer two engines which are:-
- An up-rated 1.4L DOHC Gamma engine generating maximum power of 106bhp and maximum torque 135Nm
- 1.6L DOHC CVVT engine producing a maximum power of 123bhp and 156Nm of maximum torque
Transmission
The car will be offered with either a 5-Speed Manual transmission or a 4-Speed Automatic transmission.
