Hyundai launched India’s first electric SUV in India, the Kona EV, priced at Rs 25.3 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It comes with ARAI-claimed driving range of 452 kms.
Hyundai is scaling success with its latest offering. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV has garnered 120 bookings in just 10 days, which is actually good for an electric vehicle priced at Rs 25.3 Lakhs.
Hyundai says that the inquiries and test drives of the Hyundai Kona have been increasing. The bookings might have been more, but the SUV is only available in 11 cities as of now. Hyundai has allotted 1000 units of the Kona for India this year, which we expect to increase seeing the response.
Despite being priced at a premium range, it is a proper electric SUV having no competition as of now. Globally, the Kona is available in Europe, North America and some Asian countries as well.
