Hyundai has signed agreement with ICC to be its official car partner from 2011 to 2015 with exclusive rights on this category. This means Hyundai will provide cars for car transport for the players for entire period of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
H.W. Park, managing director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited. quoted :
“We will provide our cars as transport for the players for the entire duration of the World Cup, so that they can travel in luxury,”
Not only players, but also the ICC Officials and VIP guests will also use Hyundai cars like Hyundai i10, Hyundai Santa Fe SUV, Hyundai Verna Transform, Hyundai Sonata Transform etc. Hyundai has set a budget of Rs. 200 Crores for brand promotion and events related to the ICC Cricket World Cup till 2015.
