Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has delivered the all- electric Ioniq 5 to its long-time brand ambassador – Shah Rukh Khan. The premium electric vehicle was given to the actor to commemorate the 25 year long association he enjoys with the brand. The flagship model was presented to him as a vote of thanks for this association.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Becomes First All-Electric Car in Shahrukh Khan’s Garage

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Specs
It is noteworthy that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 becomes the first-ever all-electric car in his garage. This even marks the delivery of 1,100 units of the Ioniq 5. Hyundai launched the Ioniq 5 in India at the Auto Expo 2023 early this year. A recipient of many prominent awards on a global scale, the Ioniq 5 is the halo product in HMIL’s range. In our market, this premium electric car rivals the Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 recharge. Interestingly, both Ioniq 5 and EV6 share the E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) architecture.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 features a7 2.6 kWh battery pack. It supplies juice to an electric motor that outputs 160 kW (217 PS) and 350 Nm. The vehicle can be charged through a 350 kW DC fast charging system that allows 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes. Alternatively, the 150 kW DC fast charger accomplishes the same charging level within 21 minutes. The vehicle supports both 800V and 400V charging equipment and offers the convenience of V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) feature. This allows users to power external electronic appliances. The premium EV has an ARAI-certified range of 631 km on a single charge.
