Hyundai is offering heavy discounts and offers on i20 of up to Rs 80,000 as the launch of the new generation model is around the corner.
Festive season has started and discounts/offers have started pouring in. Almost all cars have some discount offers applicable, some have heavy discounts. Hyundai i20 is now being offered with heavy discounts of up to Rs 80,000 which will reduce its actual price by a huge difference.
On the outgoing Hyundai i20, you have Rs 50,000 straight as cash discount, Rs 20,000 as exchange discount and an additional Rs 10,000 as corporate discount. Even if you cannot avail the exchange discount and corporate discount, you still have a flat Rs 50K cash discount on the hatchback.

The prices of i20 start at Rs 6.49 Lakhs up to Rs 8.30 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). With discounts applicable, you can get the top-end Asta model well under Rs 8 Lakhs. As the new i20 is incoming, the diesel and CVT variants have now been discontinued. Along with it the original base model is also no longer available.
Hyundai i20 is currently powered by a 1.2 Litre four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine that produces 83 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual stick comes as standard. The new generation model will see a complete makeover with a new shape, new styling, more engines and tons of feature addition.
Importantly, the new i20 will sport a 1.5 Litre diesel engine and the 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol motor. The gearbox options for these engines remain unknown. There are chances that the diesel engine could also get an automatic gearbox as an option. The turbo petrol engine will get a 6-speed manual stick possibly with a 7-speed DCT.

New features onboard will include electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, bigger touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink internet car technology, cruise control, ventilated seats, automatic headlamps and much more. We are expecting the launch to happen in the October-November months itself.
