As per the latest information on the launch timeline of the small car from Hyundai India, the 800 CC Hyundai HA aka Hyundai 800 is expected to launch in November 2011. The car is in testing phase and will make its debut in India in a segment below the Hyundai Santro, currently the lowest priced car from Hyundai India. The Hyundai HA is expected to be priced close to a price tag of Rs. 2.5 Lakhs to compete head on with the Maruti Alto, which is world’s largest selling small car. Not only Hyundai, but also General Motors is also targeting this segment with its Chevrolet Spark 800 which might be announced soon.
