Hyundai has hiked the price of all variants of the Grand i10 Nios and it is the diesel variants that are most affected, with their prices going up by Rs 30,000.
Hyundai has recently hiked the price of all variants of the BS6 Grand i10 Nios. The 1.0L turbo-petrol variants of the Grand i10 Nios see the least amount of hike by only about Rs 2,000. Meanwhile, the price of the 1.2L petrol variants of the Grand i10 Nios have been hiked by about Rs 7,000. The diesel variants of the Nios however have received a massive price hike of about Rs 30,000. Here’s how the new prices of the BS6 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios stack up against the old ones.

As you can see from the table, Hyundai also reshuffled the variant list slightly. The 1.0L turbo-petrol manual variant with Dual Tone color option on the Sportz trim has been discontinued. Meanwhile, the diesel manual variant is now also being offered on the Sportz trim.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has three engine options – the 1.2L, naturally aspirated, four cylinder engine produces 83bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. There’s a smaller 1.0L, three-cylinder engine with turbocharging that produces 100bhp and 172Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine is also a 1.2L unit and produces 75bhp and 190Nm of peak torque. The 1.2L petrol and diesel engine have options of both a manual and a AMT gearbox while the turbo-petrol engine solely comes with the 5-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of features, the Grand i10 Nios is one of best equipped cars in its segment. It gets features like an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5.3-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a four-speaker Arkamys sound system, a cooled glove box, wireless charging, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, rear AC vents, a rear parking camera, electrically adjustable ORVMS and much more.

The Grand i10 Nios is thus available in a total of 14 trims now. Hyundai recently launched CNG variants of the Grand i10 Nios too in the mid-spec Magna and Sportz variants. The CNG variants also see a price hike of Rs 2,000 each and are currently priced at Rs 6.65 lakh and Rs 7.18 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The Grand i10 Nios competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Tata Tiago.
