Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 Nios in India, which is a bigger and more premium version of the regular model and its price starts off at Rs 4.99 Lakhs.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios makes a debut in India, with its price starting from Rs 4.99 Lakhs to Rs 7.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The new model will be sold along the regular Grand i10, which is priced cheaper by Rs 30,000 for the top-spec variant.
The Grand i10 Nios is available in the same variants that come on i10 – Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta – and all the variants are available with petrol as well as a diesel engine. Only the petrol engine is BS-6 compliant as of now.

The 1.2 Litre petrol engine produces 83 BHP and 114 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel engine puts out 75 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with the option of a new 5-speed AMT from the Santro.

On the outside, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets the latest grille design flanked by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. For lighting, it gets projector headlamps with LED tail lamps at the back. The alloy wheels are also new on the Nios. Overall, it looks a bit different than the i10 Nios, also aided by the sharper creases over the body.
Inside the cabin, it gets a complete refreshment with a new dual-tone colour treatment. The steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment and the speedometer with MID come in completely new. It definitely looks more premium than the regular Grand i10.
Features onboard will include projector fog lamps, rear parking sensors with camera, speed alert system, projector headlamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, new touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice Recognition. Important highlights include wireless charging, Push Button Start, Rear AC Vents, Cooled Glove BVox and Driver Seat height adjustment.

The colour options on the Grand i10 Nios include Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Alpha Blue and Aqua Teal. It is also available with two dual-tone colours, Aqua Teal with Black roof and Polar White with Black roof.
Another huge difference between the Nios and the regular model is that the former is a bit bigger as well. It measures 3,805mm long, 1680 wide and 1520mm tall. It is 40mm longer and 20mm wider, but the height remains the same.
At this price, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios still continues to go against the Maruti Swift and Ford Figo, but is also priced near to the Maruti Ignis.
