For the second round, the Exter gives tough competition and stays almost neck to neck for a long phase. The Nexon barely crosses it towards the end.

The team decided to change things up for the next rounds. To give some advantage to the Exter, they decided to turn the AC off. That is when it performed the best and stayed ahead throughout the drag strip. For the final round, the Nexon was put in sports mode. But it was impressive to see that the Exter displayed immense performance even though the Nexon was just able to win the entire thing. The AMT transmission could have been the reason for that slight lack of responsiveness in the Exter. They mention this fact at the end of the video.
