The Hyundai Exter comes with two engine choices – a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.2-litre bi-fuel engine that can use either petrol or CNG. The petrol engine gives out 83 hp and 113.8 Nm of peak power and torque. The bi-fuel engine has slightly lower numbers – 69 hp and 95.2 Nm of peak power and torque. The petrol engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox, giving buyers options. The bi-fuel engine is available only with a manual gearbox. Its prices start from Rs 6 lakh and go up to Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom.
