Hyundai is taking monumental measures toward creating safe cars as it offers more models with 6 airbags as standard.
You would be happy to note that even the CNG trims of the Hyundai Exter, Grand i10 Nios and Aura come with 6 airbags as standard. In fact, these are the only CNG cars in the country to have these as standard. Just a couple of days ago, the Hyundai Verna became only the third mid-size sedan to boast a full 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP after VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia. This marks a new chapter in the already decorated history of the Korean carmaker in India. It is already the second-largest car marque in the country. With its modern cars now even being some of the safest, the customers are more likely to go for these.

Hyundai Exter, i10 Nios and Aura Have 6 Airbags
Hyundai understands the relevance of the popularity of CNG cars in India. In the last couple of years, the prices of petrol and diesel have been at an all-time high. People are desperate to look for alternatives. As EVs are still relatively scarce and expensive, CNG seems to be the only feasible solution. The infrastructure is already developed, at least in the cities. Hence, it is offering CNG variants on some of its most popular cars. What is interesting is the fact that all these three CNG cars have 6 airbags as standard irrespective of which powertrain or trim you opt for. That gives the customers peace of mind in terms of safety.

Hyundai Exter, i10 Nios and Aura to Get ADAS
To enhance even the active safety aspects of all these vehicles, Hyundai will equip these cars with ADAS features starting next year. Thereafter, the entire range of Hyundai will boast this feature. This is a testament to the brand’s commitment to road and car safety. Currently, only the Verna, Tucson and IONIQ 5 have the ADAS functions. The upcoming Creta and Alcazar will also come with ADAS. Going forward, the entire fleet will have prominent passive and active safety features as standard. These include 6 airbags, seatbelt reminder, ABS, reverse parking sensors and more.
