Hyundai launches EXTER Hy-CNG Duo EX at ₹7.50 lakh with 6 airbags, dual-cylinder CNG, and key features—making it a top value-for-money choice
Hyundai Motor India has launched a new EX variant in the Exter Hy-CNG Duo lineup. Priced at ₹7,50,700 (ex-showroom), this model brings a bi-fuel (petrol + CNG) option to the budget-friendly segment. Targeted at Gen MZ customers, the new variant blends affordability with fuel efficiency, without compromising on safety. The Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX comes powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine paired with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The dual-cylinder layout is designed to optimise boot space, offering better luggage capacity than typical CNG setups.
Focus on Safety and Convenience
Commenting on the introduction of this new variant, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “At HMIL, we are committed to offering smart mobility solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our customers. - Signature H-LED tail lamps
- Driver seat height adjustment

With this variant, Hyundai is likely targeting value-seeking customers who want a CNG option with essential creature comforts and safety features. Whether it’s the most value-for-money model in its segment is up for debate, but on paper, it does check a lot of boxes.
