In a rather strange video, a case of an accident appears where a Hyundai Exter is seen on the divider after a truck hit it from the rear. Exter is a popular micro SUV which rivals the likes of the Tata Punch and Citroen C3 in our market. In fact, it is one of the entry-level cars from the Korean carmaker alongside the Grand i10 Nios after it discontinued the famed Santro. Due to its modern features, striking appearance and high safety standards, people have been buying it like hotcakes. For now, let us take a look at the results of this latest accident.

Hyundai Exter Hit by Truck
This video comes from Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and the performances of cars during unfortunate scenarios. This is the latest example of the latter. As per the information in the video, a truck hit the Hyundai Exter from behind. However, what fascinates me the most is the angle of collision. Somehow, the vehicle climbed onto the bumper of the truck from the rear and on the divider from the front. It is hanging in the balance. As a matter of fact, it looks like someone has placed it in this position.
It is difficult to imagine what the circumstances would’ve been for this outcome. In any case, there is no information about serious injuries to the occupants. It is quite hard to believe that somehow the passengers escaped without any damage. This is one of those lucky situations where destiny was on their side and nothing happened. Also, there is barely any damage to the vehicle either. Hence, the visuals might look shocking, but there are hardly any real consequences to the car or the owners.

Author’s Note
I have reported countless incidents on the Indian roads. In fact, we lose lakhs of lives in car crashes each year. That is an alarming statistic. However, most of these incidents take place due to people refusing the follow traffic regulations. They take the rules for granted. Unfortunately, that is the case across the country barring a few metropolitan cities. Apart from that, overspeeding remains one of the biggest causes of car crashes. It is high time we start following traffic protocols and encourage everyone around us to do the same. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and promote road safety.
