Launched recently, the Hyundai Exter goes on to rival the Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and Maruti Ignis
Hyundai Exter is already being taken to the aftermarket by the owners to get customised alloys installed on it. Hyundai is known for introducing state-of-the-art technology, convenient features, contemporary designs, diverse powertrain options, and competitive pricing across its product range. These attributes were precisely what was required to challenge the reigning leader in the segment, the Tata Punch. The Exter, with its outstanding capabilities, strives to outperform the Punch in almost every aspect. Notably, it boasts a segment-first feature of 6 airbags available on all variants, aiming to achieve a high rating in the updated Global NCAP test.

Hyundai Exter with Aftermarket Alloys
This post has been shared by platialloys on Instagram. It captures a brand-new micro-SUV at an aftermarket car shop with two different sets of custom alloy wheels. The front and the rear wheels are slightly different and the post seeks opinion on which one is better. This Exter is in army green colour with a black roof for that dual-tone appearance. The square wheel arches hold the new alloy wheels quite well. They feature a 10-spoke design which looks quite neat and sporty. In fact, the overall stance and silhouette of the micro SUV are enhanced by the use of these chunky alloys. No other modification is visible in this video clip.

What We Think
Installing alloys from the aftermarket is one of the easiest and most adopted methods to make any car look unique. People often take any vehicle to a car shop and get custom alloys which are generally bigger than the stock units. However, appropriate caution has to be exercised while choosing the size of the new wheels. It is quite easy to go overboard with the size which can have many negative effects including a reduction in mileage, a compromise in ride quality, etc. Therefore, we advise our readers to only select those tyre sizes which resemble the original tyre size.
