Hyundai has been working more and more to polish its highest-selling product in the country, the Creta. Being already so popular, Hyundai aims to ensure that the customers experience every possible flexibility in terms of their requirements. The Creta already comes with a plethora of variants to suit varied customer needs. However, Hyundai realized that there is a large gap between the S and the SX trims of the Creta, as a result of which it launched the SX Executive variant which features a lot more goodies than the S trim. Hyundai Creta SX Executive – Exterior Changes
While the overall appearance of the trims will remain the same, there are a few changes that will differentiate these two trims of the Creta. In this SE Executive edition, there will be no chrome door handles, the 17-inch alloy wheels will have a silver finish, there will be a panoramic sunroof, shark fin antenna, rear disc brakes. Apart from that, the overall exteriors will continue with the large front grille, split LED headlamps with DRLs, sporty bumpers with fog lamps, stylish rear tail lamps with split lights and modern horizontal brake light running across the boot lid along with a sporty rear bumper.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive – Features Update
The SX Executive trim gets a fairly comprehensive features list compared to the S trim. This includes things like an 8-inch Digital Infotainment System with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth Connectivity, Wireless Charging, Automatic Climate Control, Auto-Folding ORVMs, Puddle Lamps, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Rear View Camera, Hill-Start Assist, Cruise Control and more. Compared to the SX trim, the SX Executive trim loses some features like a bigger 10.25-inch Digital Infotainment System, Premium Arkamys Audio System, Chrome Door Handles, Burglar Alarm, Blue Link Connected Car Tech, Driver Rear View Monitor, Voice Recognition System to name a few. According to the price difference, one can easily overlook these omissions.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive – Powertrains and Prices
The Hyundai Creta SX Executive Trim will be offered both in petrol and diesel options. The petrol engine includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit making 115 PS and 144 Nm of peak power and torque respectively, whereas the 1.5-litre diesel makes the identical 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. Both these engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox option. The price of the petrol S trim is Rs 12.19 lakh, SX Executive trim is Rs 13.18 lakh and SX trim is Rs 13.96 lakh, ex-showroom making the SX Executive trim Rs 78,000 cheaper than the SX trim and Rs 1 lakh more expensive than the S trim. The diesel S trim costs Rs 13.19 lakh, SX Executive trim costs Rs 14.18 lakh and SX trim costs Rs 14.96 lakh, ex-showroom. The overall prices range between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 17.66 lakh, ex-showroom.

If you wanted to own the Creta but thought that the SX trim was out of your budget and the S trim lacked a ton of features, the SX Executive trim is the perfect balance between the two scenarios. It bridges the gap between these two trims in the lineup of the Hyundai Creta, which is likely to be a welcome change from customers’ point of view. The rivals of the Creta include Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and the upcoming Skoda Kushaq and VW Taigun.
