The culture of over-landing has seen a stark rise in the last few years in India and car owners are converting their vehicles into places to live and camp.
This has to be India’s first Hyundai Creta that has been converted into a studio apartment. Creta is the most successful SUV in the country in recent years. Its bold looks, tons of premium and convenience features, multiple powertrains and availability of a dense service network are some of the reasons why most people prefer it over its rivals in this segment. However, there are some adventure enthusiasts who love to go out on camping excursions in their cars. This video has been uploaded by Ghumakkad bugz on YouTube. It captures a walkaround tour of a Hyundai Creta of a couple and YouTubers who have converted it into a home where they sleep on their camping adventures. Interestingly, the couple even has two little children who sleep with them in the car. The Creta owners showcase the modifications made to the SUV. These include a fully-functional setup for the kitchen with dedicated drawers to store appliances, spices, raw materials, snacks, etc. Apart from that, there is also a 5 kg gas cylinder that powers the gas stove where they cook their food.

For the toilet, they have purchased a tent in which they can also change clothes even though they are deep in nature. Then they show the special arrangement for the bed made out of iron rods as the base and wooden ply for the bed. The duo is able to sleep with their two children comfortably. They carry a water container to take care of their water consumption and other applications. All these arrangements are becoming quite common these days as people convert their cars into camper vans for such occasions and off-roading trips.

This overlanding culture is on the rise in recent times. People invest in the conversion of their regular cars quite judiciously and devise unique and innovative solutions to ensure that all their camping needs are met. We can only suggest that you must ensure that you visit the professionals to get these things installed in your car. If these components get loose, there could be a constant annoying sound since the journey would be long to get to the place for camping. Also, loose components could be hazardous to the safety of the occupants.
