The C-SUV, now in its second generation, currently locks horns with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq and the likes.

In fact, the Hyundai Creta has received numerous updates over the last 8 years it has been available in the country. Other than achieving a significant milestone in the domestic market, it has even sold over 2.80 lakh copies in the export market.

Priced at Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom, onwards, the latest iteration of the popular C-SUV comes with a host of fresh upgrades. These include an exterior design based on Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ philosophy, a revamped cabin, Level 2 ADAS functions, a redesigned rear profile, and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta provides multiple engine and transmission choices to accommodate diverse preferences. These include a 1.5-litre NA petrol mill, a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel unit, and for enthusiasts, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor. This is the same engine that’s available in the new Verna. These engines deliver varying power and torque: 115 PS / 144 Nm, 115 PS / 250 Nm, and 160 PS / 253 Nm, respectively. Depending on the model, buyers can choose from a 6-speed manual, IVT (CVT automatic), a 6-speed automatic, or a 7-speed DCT.
