Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country’s second-largest carmaker, has launched MY 2023 Hyundai Creta with additional standard safety features. All these updates are now even available on the Alcazar. Additionally, all the SUVs in the carmaker’s lineup will now feature Idle Stop & Go (ISG) system.

2023 Hyundai Creta Safety Upgrades
The 2023 Hyundai Creta and Alcazar come equipped with a handful of additional active and passive safety features as a part of the standard equipment. The key inclusions of the updated safety suite include –
- 6 Airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side & Curtain)
- Rear Disc Brakes
- Hill Start Assist Control (HAC)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
- Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
- Seatbelt Height Adjustment
- ISOFIX child seat anchorage
Idle Stop & Go (ISG)
2023 Hyundai Creta and Alcazar feature updated RDE-complaint engine options that are also E20 fuel ready. So far, the C-segment SUV has been available with three engine options – 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol. The 1.5- and 1.4-litre gasoline options output 115PS-143.8Nm and 140PS-242 Nm, respectively. The former is available with 6-speed MT and IVT options, while a 7-speed DCT is exclusive to the latter. The oil-burner, on the other hand, offers 115PS-250 Nm and is available with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT options.
Another important addition to the 2023 Hyundai Creta as well as the Alcazar and Venue comes in the form of the Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature. The newly introduced system boosts the fuel efficiency during the stop-go driving conditions prevalent in the urban usage. Furthermore, all variants of the Hyundai Creta are now available with 60:40 split-folding rear seat as a standard feature.
