Hyundai Creta is currently running in its first generation iteration with a major upgrade on the way and expected to launch In India sometime in 2020.
The Hyundai Creta has been one of the top-selling product for the South Korean automaker in India. Thanks to its premium attributes and a comfortable ride along with a feature loaded kitty, it is currently leading the segment with monthly sales well above the 10,000 mark. The compact SUV recently received its mid-life update in which it got a sizable increase in its feature list along with some minor cosmetic alterations.

Hyundai has already commenced the development of the next-generation Creta. Recently, the first spy images of this new version of this compact SUV leaked online. In these we can clearly see that Hyundai is trying to make this urban utility vehicle even more premium. Previous reports state that in its second generation update, the Creta is likely to feature a 7-seater variant.
Most of the details regarding the next-gen Hyundai Creta are still under the wraps. However, there have been several reports stating that it is going to get a complete engine overhaul. The new engine line-up is going to get a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Since the new generation will make its debut post 2020, both these engines will launch in BS-VI guises.

The current generation of the Hyundai Creta has been the playground of imagination for its owners. Some of them have plonked it with bigger wheels, sporty body kit or even a complete overhaul of its interiors.
A recent rendering by Kleber Silva brings an all-new dimension to this SUV. The rendering in question is of what the Creta would look like if it had a pick-up iteration.
