Hyundai Creta Owner Drives with Monkey
This post comes from prince_verma569 on Instagram. It captures a rather cringy act. The owner of the Creta is driving the SUV on a public road. However, a baby monkey is sitting on the steering wheel. The driver doesn’t seem to bother too much about it. He continues to drive. Then the baby monkey is seen hanging from the IRVM. After demonstrating a few manoeuvres, he lands on the gear selector. In the process, it is possible that his hands and feet could’ve pressed some buttons unintentionally. Finally, the animal comes and sits on the lap of the driver while the car is still in motion.

I am not sure what this Creta owner is trying to prove with this video clip. It is quite shameful that he is willing to risk his own life and the lives of other road users plying alongside. There can be sudden situations on the road where the driver might have to move the steering wheel abruptly or hit the brakes. With a monkey on the steering wheel or on the lap, it would hinder the driver’s capabilities to have full control of the SUV. That could bear fatal consequences in a matter of seconds.

Author’s Note
Unfortunately, people are willing to jeopardise health and safety to create viral reels. We live in an era of social media. People just want to create the next viral video. Even if they have to perform unsafe, or utterly non-sense content and activities, they do that without bearing in mind the potential consequences. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and follow traffic protocols vehemently. If you find anyone flouting the traffic regulations, you must report them to the authorities so that proper action can be taken against them.
