The new EX variant of the Hyundai Creta is going to replace the E+ trim. The move could be in the wake of rising competition in the compact SUV segment.
Hyundai is soon going to introduce an all-new EX variant in the Creta line-up. This new variant is going to replace the current E+ trim. The new EX variant is going to offer more features in comparison to the E+ trim.
On the outside, the nee EX variant of the Hyundai Creta is going to offer fogl-lamps and LED daytime running lights. On the inside, this new variant is going to offer features such as a rear seat armrest with cup-holders, adjustable headrests for the rear seats along with a reverse parking camera.
The Hyundai Creta’s diesel EX variant is going to offer a couple of additional features over the petrol derivative. It is going to get a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted audio controls, map lights along with a sunglass holder, front tweeters and a USB charging socket at the front.

In addition to introducing the new EX trim, Hyundai can also dicontinue to the S variant availble with a diesel-automatic combination. If so happens, then the Creta will be available with a diesel-automatic combination in just the SX trim.
Apart from all this, there will be no other changes. The mechanical specifics will remain the same as before.

The Hyundai Creta has been the unquestioned leader in the compact SUV segment. It continues to garner close to 10,000 bookings every month. However, recently there have been several new enterants in the same spectrum. First, it was the Tata Harrier, then the Nissan Kicks and more recently, the Mahindra XUV300.
In other news, Hyundai is gearing up to launch an all-new sub-4-meter compact SUV in India. Known as the Hyundai Venue, this vehicle is expected to make its debut sometime during the month of May this year.
