Hyundai Creta N-Line Specs
The new Hyundai Creta’s N Line variant is equipped with a potent 1.5-litre turbo petrol direct injection engine, delivering 160 PS and 253 Nm of peak power and torque. Shared with the standard Creta and Verna models, this engine will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox in the N Line trim. Targeting driving enthusiasts, the N Line variant will feature recalibrated steering, exhaust, and suspension setups. However, it’s important to note that the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel engines will not be available in this variant.

Hyundai Creta N-Line – Exterior
We had the Titan Grey Creta N-Line for this review. It features red inserts to accentuate sportiness. Additionally, the N Line variant of the Hyundai Creta features dedicated N Line badges to set it apart from the standard model. This includes an N Line-exclusive sporty front grille adorned with an N Line emblem, as well as a refreshed front bumper design highlighted by striking red inserts. Furthermore, the N Line variant showcases newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, complemented by sporty red front brake callipers and side sill inserts in red. Additionally, a newly designed skid plate with red inserts, along with distinct N emblems on the front, side, and rear, enhance its sporty appeal. However, other elements such as the LED taillamp bar, LED headlamps, and side profile will maintain an identical appearance to the non-N Line version. Consequently, the Creta N Line’s road presence will be subtly distinct from the regular model due to these design enhancements.

Driving Impressions
Since the Creta N-Line possesses the most powerful engine in its segment, the straight-line acceleration is exquisite. Hyundai claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 8.9 seconds. The ARAI mileage figures are 18 km/l for the manual and 18.2 km/l for the automatic transmission. In our driving review, we appreciated the retuned suspension setup and steering feedback. In fact, there is a heft to the steering wheel which inspires confidence during highway drives and high-speed cornering manoeuvres. Also, the suspension is slightly stiff which ensures stability at high speeds.
Obviously, this will impact the ride quality a bit. Hence, you could feel the sharp bumps on the roads a bit more. Talking about the braking system, the Creta N-Line gets an all-wheel disc brake setup. There is a prominent bite to the brake pedal which leads to a reassuring feel. Overall, the performance version of the mid-size SUV is engaging. You would definitely feel a significant difference in comparison to the regular Creta.
