The Hyundai Creta has been a very popular car in the after market modification scene but this one seems to have taken it too far trying to be a ‘Range Over’.
The first generation Creta has been one of Hyundai’s best selling products in India and has been on roads for about five years. The Creta, being an SUV, has been particularly popular in the after market modification scene. You will find tons on Cretas that have been modified tastefully but here we have one example that has taken it quite far. This first-generation Hyundai Creta has been modified to look like a Range Rover. And it has not been done so bad after all.
The video above was posted on YouTube channel ‘Gafoor Ali’. The first give away that this Creta is trying to be a Range Rover has to be the grille. The grille even wears the ‘Land Rover’ logo on it, and just in case you missed that, there’s some more bold ‘RANGE ROVER’ lettering on top of the grille as well. This Creta does not want to do it subtly, does it? But that’s not all, the Creta also gets after market LED projector headlamps and DRLS and the fog lamps are after market units too.
In profile, the SUV has been customized with large black alloy wheels shod with low profile tires. There’s even a fake fender scoop that has been made to look like the ones on Range Rovers. As you go over the back, you can see a blacked out tail lamp and again some Range Rover badging. No, wait. if you notice carefully, it’s actually ‘RANGE OVER’. That’s why we think this Creta is trying a bit too hard to be Range Rover.

Jokes apart, Hyundai has already launched the second-generation Creta in India. Prices for the new SUV starts from Rs 9.99 lakh and goes all the way up to rs 17.20 lakh. In no time, the new Creta has already proved to be very popular among Indian audience. Hyundai has already dispatched 6,703 units of the Creta after its launch in just five days before the lockdown was imposed. We are very sure the new Creta will end up with funky customization jobs pretty soon as well.
