The Hyundai Creta has achieved a domestic sales figure of 3,70,000 units while the number of units sold stands at 1,40,000 units.
Hyundai Creta, after its debut during the year 2015, has now achieved a global sales figure of 5 lakh units. Out of these 5 lakh units, a total of 3.70 lakh units were sold in the Indian market, where the rest of the 1.40 lakh units were exports.

The Hyundai Creta currently falls in-between the range of INR 9.60 lakh to 15.64 lakh. Its current competition includes the likes of Nissan Kicks and Maruti Suzuki s-Cross. The Creta has been the unchallenged leader in this segment with monthly sales well above the 10,000 mark.

The Hyundai Creta recently recieved its mid-life facelift. This saw this compact SUV get features such as an electric sunroof, ventilated seats, electrically adjustable driver’s seat along with a smart keyband for wireless charging.

The Creta is available with one petrol and two diesel engine options. The petrol unit is a 1.6-litre motor. It churns out 121 BHP along with 154 Nm of peak torque. There are two diesel engines on offer. For the lower spec variants, there is a 1.4-litre unit which is capable of churning out 89 BHP along with 224 Nm of peak torque. For the higher spec variants, the Creta comes with a 1.6-litre trim which is good for 126 BHP along with 265 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT, 6-Speed AT and a 5-Speed MT for the 1.4-litre diesel unit.
