Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) finally announces the commencement of bookings for the Hyundai Creta facelift. In spite of the numero-uno status, the popular compact SUV faced some heat from the latest Kia Seltos and the Maruti Grand Vitara. The advent of the facelift, though, should once again bring the Creta into the limelight. While prices are under covers, one can pre-order the SUV for a booking amount of INR 25,000/-.

Sensuous Sportiness Theme Governs Fresh Aesthetics
The new Hyundai Creta facelift embraces Hyundai’s Global Design Language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness.’ This leads to a confident and bolder stance. With new design elements, more premium interiors, and robust powertrains, this SUV aims to elevate the expectations of modern-age customers. As first reported by CarBlogIndia, the front-end features a boxier profile, in contrast to global version’s Tucson-like look. That said, it does benefit from the parametric grille and modern LED lighting fixtures. The rear gets connected LED taillamps, which is in accordance with the latest models from HMIL.
Even the interior witnesses plenty of upgrades. The dashboard looks new and carries a twin-screen layout. From the looks of it, the Creta has embraced Alcazar’s digital infotainment screen. In all probability, the SUV will even get Level-2 ADAS along with a host of other new features. Overall, the new exterior and interior should come together to bestow the popular SUV with a fresh appeal.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift: Specs and Safety
The new Creta will be sold with three engine options. The base motor will continue to be the 1.5-litre MPI petrol unit. Even the 1.5-litre U2 CRDI Diesel-burner will be on offer. However, the erstwhile 1.4-litrfe Turbo GDI Petrol unit makes way for a 1.5-litre unit that is already available on the Verna. Transmission options on offer will include a 6-speed Manual, IVT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic.
As mentioned, the Hyundai Creta facelift will likely offer Level-2 ADAS. What this means is that the new vehicle will come with advanced active and passive safety features to ensure a comprehensive protection. The Creta became the first SUV in the segment to offer 6 airbags as standard. Notably, all the safety equipment of the outgoing version will be present even on the facelift.
