The details of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift have been revealed in this walkaround video. Creta is the most popular mid-size SUV in the country. However, it is due for an update to stay fresh among the new players that have entered the market recently. That is the reason why we are most likely to see a facelifted version of the Creta this year. The model in the video is for the Indonesian market and the India-spec version might feature many similarities. Let us check out the details of the new Creta in depth.

The exterior of this Creta resembles the last-gen Hyundai Tucson that was on sale in the international market. The front is overpowered by the large parametric design pattern on the grille with the LED DRLs seamlessly integrated on either side of it, the projector headlamps are positioned on the bumper below along with turn indicators and fog lamps, the bumper is redesigned with sporty skid plates, the fender hosts some curves, the dual-tone alloy wheels remain almost identical to the current model, the side body skirting lends it a rugged feel and the side profile remains identical. The rear also remains largely unchanged with the split-LED taillamps, chunky skid plate, roof-integrated spoiler, shark fin antenna, and sculpted boot lid.
On the inside, the overall layout of the dashboard and other controls remains similar to the current model. This includes a Digital Instrument Cluster, a large Touchscreen Infotainment System with Connected Car Tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4-Spoke Multi-Functional Steering Wheel, plenty of storage space, Vertical Air-Con Vents, a large Panoramic Sunroof, Ventilated Front Seats, 360-Degree Camera, Electronic Parking Brake, Premium Bose Audio System, among other things. Almost all these features are already available with the current-gen model and we believe that these will continue with facelifted version too.

There will hardly be any changes to the powertrain options either. This means that there will be petrol, diesel and turbo-petrol options with manual, CVT and DCT gearboxes. Currently, the prices of the Creta range between Rs 10.23 lakh and Rs 17.94 lakh, ex-showroom which might see a slight bump with the new model. The rivals include Kia Sonet, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor.
