Hyundai Creta, one of the most sought-after SUVs in India, is set to receive a mid-life makeover that will introduce new features and a fresh set of soft parts. As per the available information, the upcoming update is being tailor-made to suit the Indian market. Hence, it’s clear that we won’t get the same version as the one sold in many global markets. 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Seen Near Carmaker’s Production Plant
The latest set of visuals come from the outskirts of Chennai, near to the manufacturer’s Sriperumbudur-based facility. The test mule features heavy camouflage at the rear, where it could be hiding a comprehensively updated tail-end. The spy pics even show a bit of the lighting signature of the new LED taillamps. It’s noteworthy that the facelift will feature connected taillamps similar to those on the latest Venue. The car will even have a new bumper. Meanwhile, the front-end will ditch the current soft parts for Palisade-like LED DLRs, a new grille and a new bumper. The new facade will bring the looks of the SUV in line with those of the Exter and the Venue. The new front- and rear-end will give the Creta a more modern appearance.
Inside, the new SUV will offer a fresh interior with new features. It could have a new touchscreen infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster, while the the cabin could have a dark colour theme. Most of the equipment will be carried over from the outgoing model, This means the SUV will offer bits like a multi-function four-spoke steering wheel, front seats ventilation, wireless charging functionality, BlueLink, BOSE audio setup, and an electric panoramic sunroof. Safety-wise, all the variants could come with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and traction control. Meanwhile, the top-spec variant will offer Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a 360-degree camera.

In terms of transmission, the new model will provide multiple options, including a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a CVT, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
