Hyundai is continuing with its strategy of releasing partial information as the launch nears
The interior of the Hyundai Creta Electric has been revealed. Note that the electric iteration of the most successful mid-size SUV has been spied testing for a while. However, the Korean auto giant has announced that the launch will take place on January 17 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. With this, it will take on the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Mahindra BE 6e in our market. For now, let us glance at the details showcased by Hyundai.
Hyundai Creta Electric Interior Revealed
The images give us a thorough walkaround tour of the cabin of the new Hyundai Creta Electric. The overall ambience is quite premium with tons of new-age amenities to pamper the customers. It gets a dual-tone Granite Gray with a Dark Navy interior colour theme. However, the biggest highlight is the floating console with open storage, something that sets it apart from the ICE version completely. It is surrounded by blue ambient lighting. Also, the seats are created from eco-friendly and sustainable materials, something we have seen in the Ioniq 5 as well. Enhancing the practicality, the boot space is 433 litres, while the frunk can accommodate 22 litres. The list of amenities is rather expansive including:

While not all details have been announced, still Hyundai has confirmed that there will be two battery packs on offer – 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. These will enable an ARAI-rated range figure of 390 km and 473 km on a single charge, respectively. The smaller battery is good for 135 PS, while with the larger battery pack, this number shoots up to an impressive 171 PS. For optimal performance during cold weather conditions and maximum charging performance, there is a battery heater. With a DC fast charger, the battery can be juiced up from 10% to 80% in a mere 58 minutes while it will take 4 hours to go from 10% to 100% using an 11 kW AC wall box charger. Interestingly, there are Active Aero Flaps which will aid aerodynamics for maximum efficiency and range. All details will surface at the launch.
