The Hyundai Creta 2018 facelift iteration comes to India with a host of features. It now gets an electric sunroof, electrically operated driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, wearable key and new 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
Hyundai Motors India has today finally launched the much anticipated 2018 iteration of the Creta compact SUV in India. the Hyundai Creta 2018 comes with a slightly altered exterior design and a host of features. The engine specifications of this compact SUV remains the same as before. Also, the interior design continues to come with the same layout. However, this SUV now comes with a slightly expensive price list. Prices for the base petrol variant start at INR 9.43 lakhs. While the top of the line diesel variant is going to cost INR 15.03 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Talking about the changes in design, the new Creta comes with a revised front and rear bumper design. Also, the design of the front grille is slightly altered as well. The fog-lamp housing on the front bumper is now more prominent and has a very angular layout. While the lamp itself sits inside the LED daytime running lights. The front faux-skid plates also feature a new look. At the back, the majority of the components retain their earlier look. the only major change is again in the bumper design. Here it has a similar layout as seen on the front bumper.

Some of the new features with the 2018 Creta comes with are Bi-function projector headlamps, LED DRL and positioning lamps, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, dual-tone front and rear bumpers and split tail-lamps.
Moving inside the cabin, the dashboard layout remains exactly the same as before. The cabin continues to have its ergonomic attributes and premium material quality. With this update, the Creta now offers a host of additions to its equipment list. It now comes with an all-new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This unit comes with Android Auto, Apple Car Play and MirrorLink connectivity. In addition to this, the compact SUV also offers an electric sun-roof, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, sliding front armrest, rear ac vents and other. Furthermore, the car is going to offer Smart key Band, wireless phone charger, AutoLink connected Car Technology and IBlue App.

The Hyundai Creta 2018 Facelift continues to come with the same powertrains. It comes with a 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine. In addition to this, it also comes with a 1.4-litre and a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engines as well. A 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic gearbox, both are available across the petrol and diesel engine line-up. Hyundai claims that the new Creta offers 3 percent and 4 percent better fuel efficiency in its petrol and diesel engines respectively.
With this update, the Creta comes with Dual-airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across the range, However, the range-topping models now come with up to 6-airbags. In addition to this, it also comes with Electronic Stability Control and Vehicle Stability Management and Hill Assist Control. It also offers rear parking sensors with camera, ISOFIX Child Seat mounts and Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock.
