The manufacturers have also filed a patent for this technology as the material used in centre side airbag not only makes them lighter but also reliable.
With modern technologies coming in and car manufacturers adopting them to be in the competition is not something new we see. And we often see with new technology updates and convenience features, carmakers also upgrade their cars according to that. So Hyundai Motors Group has developed centre side airbag.
The main aim of this centre side airbag from Hyundai is to reduce the head collision injuries by up to 80%. These airbags are officially not on the offer but will soon be seen in Hyundai future cars. The manufacturers have also claimed as this to be one of the lightest centre airbags in the world.
The South Korean company claims that the airbag will help in reducing head collisions for passengers sitting at the front row. This airbag is installed in the driver’s seat and will deploy once there is any impact involved.
