While the domestic market for Hyundai saw a degrowth of 7.3%, the export market shined with an 9% increase car sales for June 2019.
There has been a significant decline in car sales this year and most manufacturers have suffered the loss. India’s second largest manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd received a downfall of 3.2% for car sales in the month of June 19.
The South Korean manufacturer sold a total of 42,007 units in June’19 than a total of 45,314 units in June’18. That significant degrowth of 7.3%. The export models saw a total sales of 16,800 units this June compared to 15,408 units for the same month last year. Interestingly, the export models saw an increase of 9%.
Hyundai Motor India Limited is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC). HMIL is the second largest car manufacturer and the number one car exporter since it set its base in India. The car sales of Hyundai for the month of June 2018 saw a total of 60,722 units being sold.

Furthermore, the compact SUV saw total sales at more than 7,000 units which improved the sales chart for Hyundai. The new product offers some features like BlueLink Technology, electric sunroof, air purifier and a large 8.0-inch touchscreen music system.
