The interior design of Hyundai Aura has been leaked, as the new sedan has started reaching dealerships ahead of launch this month.
Hyundai is set to launch the Aura sedan on 22nd January. The bookings for the sedan have commenced across all dealerships for a token amount of Rs 10,000. The sedan has been revealed from the outside and we also have details about its features and engine specs.
Ahead of the launch, the interior of the Hyundai Aura has been leaked. The sedan looks similar to the Grand i10 Nios from inside the cabin but gets a different colour theme. First impressions of the interior of Hyundai Aura conclude that it definitely looks upscale.
The first thing noticeable is the new and bigger touchscreen infotainment system, similar to Venue and Nios. Below that, you can see the redesigned AC vents and climate control system. The top-end trims will come with Auto AC control.

The dashboard gets a honeycomb mesh design backed by dual-tone brown and beige leather inserts. Further, we can spot the new fully digital instrument console with a new steering wheel with multiple controls.
Hyundai will offer the Aura with three engine options, including 1.2 Litre petrol and diesel engines and a 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol unit. The petrol engine produces 83 BHP and 113 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine produces 74 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. The turbo petrol unit is capable of producing 100 BHP and 172 Nm of peak torque.
Hyundai Aura will come in 11 variants and six colour options – Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan grey, Alpha blue and Vintage brown. The variants will include:

The Aura will eventually replace the Xcent and the latter will further cater only to the cab fleet operators. Expect Aura to demand Rs 30,000 – 50,000 premium over the variants of Xcent, just like the case with Nios and Grand i10.
