New Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will sit between the current Grand i10 and Elite i20. The Nios packs more features and space on the inside with a completely new exterior design.
The new Hyundai Grand i10 will launch on August 20 and the manufacturer has given a suffix of Nios to the upcoming hatchback. It simply means ‘more’ for customers who are looking on space, practicality, performance and features.
In addition, the bookings for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has started at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The upcoming hatchback will sit between the current-gen Grand i10 and Elite i20 from the Hyundai’s portfolio.
Talk about the design then the new Grand i10 takes gets swept-back headlights with a much-needed projector set up. It also gets a cascading grille upfront. Also, the foglamp housing is different now and the LED DRLs sits on the edges of the grille.

Knowing that the Grand i10 Nios sits on a new platform which gives added dimensions thus resulting in extra space on the inside. The side profile of the car sees new alloy wheel design followed by chrome door handles which gives the hatchback a neat design.
The interior of the Grand i10 Nios will see a fresh dashboard design along with a new multi-function steering wheel. It will carry a two-tone, ivory-grey colour scheme inside followed by an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The circular AC vents take inspiration from the Santro and you can further notice the availability of automatic climate control, semi-digital instrument cluster and more.
With the BlueLink technology seen on the Venue, the Grand i10 Nios is expected to feature this useful tech. The Compact yet Spacious interiors with upper C pad appearing to be floating on the lower C Pad and the door trim character line flowing into the C pad gives a wider and spacious interior feel.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will pack the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine tuned to BS6. It churns out 81 bhp with a peak torque of 115 Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. The 1.2L turbocharged diesel engine could be offered with BS6 version too. The oil burner churns out 74 bhp with 190 Nm of torque and is mated to 5-speed MT.
