The immigration rules of Hungary are being eased to attract Indian truckers. In the last few years, the demand for truck drivers in European countries has seen a sharp surge. But Hungary is going all out to fill the vacancies as soon as possible by easing the laws of migrations for foreigners, particularly Indians. This is because Indian truck drivers have a great reputation for being excellent at this job as seen in many other countries.

Hungary Immigration Eased for Indian Truckers
Hungary is facing a huge labour shortage since a couple of years. This is particularly serious in the trucking space. In fact, this shortage is prevalent in entire Europe and most countries are looking to fulfil this demand by recruiting foreign nationals which is why the migration policies are quite friendly these days. The main attraction for the Hungarians is the fact that the Indian truckers are considered punctual, respectful and excellent when it comes to truck operations. Moreover, it is believed that they keep their trucks clean and drive economically.

These are traits that they have picked up from working in India. However, the wages in India are not that attractive. In the case of Hungary, the Indian truck drivers could easily earn at least 3 times more than what they do here in addition to things like the ease of driving as the traffic on the European highways is way less when compared to India. Hence, the stress levels will be low and the wages will be high. As a result, Indian truckers will be able to fill around 8,000 vacancies in this sector in Hungary currently.

The company that is facilitating this migration movement is Bányai & Partners Consulting, which has its headquarters in Budapest, Hungary. They take care of the documentation, round-the-clock support, setting up bank accounts, etc. of the workers. At the moment, they are hiring truckers from Bangalore although they used to hire people from Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Mongolia prior to this. Typically, the employers will offer a 24-month contract to the Indian truckers which will allow them to get a visa. At the moment, only men are being hired and women truckers will also join the roster soon. This is a great opportunity for a lot of India truckers to migrate to Europe.
