Indian roads are filled with exciting and unmatched scenarios and this is yet another addition to that list.
A Hummer SUV pulling an entire marriage stage on the road is solely specific to India. Hummer used to be an aspirational SUV for a whole generation of people in the 2000s. In fact, there are prominent celebrities from that time who used to own some version of the iconic American giant. But it was discontinued in 2010 after which almost every carmaker on the planet began producing smaller and smaller SUVs to make them more accessible to wider audiences across the globe. Nevertheless, we still get a glimpse of one on our roads every now and then.

Hummer Pulling Marriage Stage on Road
This image has been doing rounds on social media lately. It captures a typical yellow (the most common colour of the SUV back in the day) parked on the side of the road. In fact, things get pretty interesting once you witness what lies behind it. There is an entire stage used for marriage purposes with seating for the bride and the groom. It looks like it has been towed to the SUV and pulled onto the road. There are decorative items and sculptures on the stage which we typically experience at the wedding venues.

Needless to say, this is a unique scenario. In the visuals, we see people standing around the gargantuan SUV. They are starting at this arrangement with amazement. The Hummer has large alloys with squared wheel arches, a massive front section with an imposing grille and a tall hood with auxiliary lights. One could understand why people looking for an SUV with an unparalleled road presence used to opt for it. Its charm is unlike any other SUV out there. We reckon the bride and the groom might also have had the dream of having Hummer as a part of their wedding celebrations somehow which made them do this.

Specs
Hummer used to have multiple models including H1, H2 and H3. The H2 used to come powered by a colossal 6.2-litre diesel with 8 cylinders. This engine used to churn out a decent 393 hp and 563 Nm of peak power and torque mated to a 6-speed shiftable automatic gearbox powering all four wheels. Despite weighing a mammoth 3 tons, it had an impressive acceleration time for 0-100 km/h of just 8.2 secs. However, it was infamous for having an abysmal mileage of just 5.1 km/l which is why it had a fuel tank of 121 litres. It had a price tag of around Rs 80 lakh back then.
