How to Know if Your FASTag is Deactivated?
Note that all those FASTags were deactivated from January 31, 2024, whose KYC was not complete. KYC refers to Know Your Customer. It is a common formality which is needed across various industries. In order to keep your FASTag active, it must be connected to your details to verify your credentials. Hence, you must do it in order to continue using the services. Remember, not everyone has to go through this process if you have already done your KYC.

To know if your KYC is complete or not, you can adopt multiple ways. Firstly, you can directly contact your bank or PayTM or other service from where you got your FASTag. They can check the status and let you know. In fact, they will contact you themselves. Alternatively, you can visit the website of FASTag and enter your details. It will confirm whether your KYC has been done or not. If not, you can directly upload the required documents and get your KYC done. Hence, you can save yourself from paying double the normal amount at toll plazas effective immediately.
